Allison Perales

Nonprofit Services Intern

Allison joined Charities Review Council in 2019 and now serves as the Nonprofit Services Intern. In this role, Allison supports the Accountability Wizard® nonprofit review process, provides one-on-one assistance to donors and nonprofits, and collaborates on event planning, communications, and research projects.

Allison is a fourth-year at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities studying Global Studies with a Cultural Analysis in Latina America, with a minor in Anthropology. Prior to joining the Council, Allison served as the Co-President of Hmong Minnesota Student Association, a nonprofit organization whose mission statement is to promote, preserve, and advance the Hmong culture and heritage through helping its members develop cultural, social, leadership, and communication skills. She hopes to continue her education and use it in the future to work with nonprofits that are focused on helping marginalized and indigenous communities.

Kennon Wales

Nonprofit Services Intern

Kennon joined Charities Review Council in 2019 as a Nonprofit Services Intern, providing assistance and support to nonprofits as they complete the Accountability Wizard® nonprofit review process.

Kennon is a student completing her final year at the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities studying Political Science and Technical Writing and Communication with the sub-plan legal discourse and public policy. She is currently a research assistant at the Shen Neurolaw Lab. Prior to working at the Council, Kennon had internships at local nonprofits Tubman and Find Your Power. After graduation, she hopes to continue to law school and is interested in focusing on privacy and First Amendment issues.
