Xena is a rising junior at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, where she is pursuing a major in Political Science and a minor in Business Law. As an aspiring lawyer with a particular focus in human rights, Xena has spent her undergraduate career conducting research for the Minnesota Department of Corrections and completing an externship at the Ramsey County Courthouse. Xena is passionate about the role and importance of nonprofits in supporting local communities and is interested in learning more about the Council’s review process further fostering and strengthening the nonprofit sector.

Marshall Kelly

Marshall is a sophomore at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. He is working towards a BA in Theater Arts and a Spanish minor, with a special interest in the intersection between art and business. Marshall is the President of the UMN’s chapter of the United States Institute for Theatre Technicians, and a member of their Peer Representative board for 2023-24. Prior to his internship with the Council, Marshall worked with the Minnesota Historical Society as a National History Day Mentor. Outside of his work and school, you can find him acting in the Twin Cities theater scene and reading science fiction novels.
