Founded in 1946, Charities Review Council remains a one-of-its-kind resource to both donors and nonprofits.

“Over the years, we’ve been very proud and honored to be able to say that we meet the standards of accountability as outlined by Charities Review Council and we’re very eager to complete the review process again this year. Meeting Charities Review Council’s standards is truly something that our organization values and believes in.”

– David Egan, Co-Executive Director of Susan G. Komen MN

Smart giving, creates better relationships. Strong nonprofits create a better world.

Founded in 1946, the Charities Review Council was originally established to better educate citizens giving to WWII charities and causes. While much has changed through the years, we remain a one-of-its-kind resource to both donors and nonprofits through our exclusive tools and education.

Today, our mission is to deepen the relationship between engaged donors and strong nonprofits for the greater good.

Through cloud-based nonprofit technical assistance, intentional learning communities, and donor education, we are building a culture of philanthropy where donors and nonprofits are equal partners, working together toward stronger communities.
