Information collected includes information regarding your credit card or other electronic payment account, such as name, card number, and other information needed to process the transaction. This information is used for verification of a valid credit card or other payment method and authorization for the value of the requested donation.
If you want to make a purchase using a credit card, we will collect additional Personal Information from you as required from our third-party payment gateway, Stripe, in order to validate your credit card and authorize the dollar value of your purchase for payment. Information collected includes information regarding your credit card account, such as name, card number, and other information needed to process the transaction. This credit card information is used for verification of a valid credit card and authorization for the value of the requested purchase.
How We Use and Share Data
We do not link the nonpersonal information we collect about your visit to the Website to your personal information. We may use nonpersonal information to help us make the Website more useful to you and for other business purposes. For example, we may provide information to funders and/or in our annual report about how many computers visited this Website or what pages were most popular.
