COVID-19 Update: Our Policy Has Been Extended

Charities Review Council’s Social Distancing Policy has been extended through May 4th.

On April 8th, Governor Tim Walz extended the Stay Home order until May 4th. Charities Review Council is following the Governor’s order and will continue working remotely during this time. Here’s what that means for us going forward:

Nonprofit Services

  • Accountability Wizard® nonprofit reviews will continue as usual.
  • We’re working closely with those who have approaching expiration dates to provide flexibility during this time.
  • The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Toolkit is still available and fully functional.
  • We’re keeping our social media channels updated with funding opportunities and resources for nonprofits. Stay updated and connected by clicking the icons below.

Donor Services

  • The Smart Giver Newsletter, which includes our list of Meets Standards® nonprofits and Council updates, is still scheduled to hit mailboxes later this month.
  • We’re continuing to share our smart-giving tips on social media and through the Giving Matters Blog.
  • We’re available to answer your smart giving questions. You can email us at or check out our online list of reviewed nonprofits, here.
