Impact and Programs
Accomplishments
In calendar year 2022, we granted 76 wishes, provided 83 memorials, and funded 8 Scholarships of Hope. We utilized over 150 volunteers who provided hundreds of hours of service to achieve these efforts. Beyond this initial impact, each of these kids and families will go on to make an impact on dozens of others, inspiring communities of support to continue helping and support those in need.
Current Goals
In 2023, we anticipate granting 83 wishes, providing 95 memorials, and funding 18 Scholarships of Hope. We will benefit from roughly 150 volunteers throughout the year to achieve this. In working with our wish kids and families, our goal is to provide exception experiences and to demonstrate that there is a large, dedicated community here to support them. We also maintain a relationship with our kids and families years after their wish, providing additional opportunities to find joy and know they are supported.
Community or Constituency Served
We serve children, from birth to their 19th birthday, suffering from a terminal or life-threatening condition.
Geographic Area Served
We serve children living in Minnesota or who are receiving treatment at a Minnesota hospital.
