Mission Statement

The White Bear Lake Area Historical Society connects our community to its past cultivating an understanding and appreciation for our history.

Impact and Programs

Accomplishments During the past year, the WBLAHS has reached over 2,000 people during our outreach programs, through our regular presence in the local newspaper and magazines and online with our interactive contests and information. Without the advocacy and partnership of the WBLAHS, the White Bear Town Hall would not have been saved. More than 300 newly acquired artifacts and photographs have been added to the collection in the care of the WBLAHS.
Current Goals During the current fiscal year the WBLAHS's programmatic goals include completing the interior work at the White Bear Town Hall to enable interpretation to begin. The collections area HVAC improvements will be underway to greatly enhance the conditions where the collections are stored and processed. Continued outreach to the schools and serving as a resource for area students.
