Impact and Programs
Accomplishments
The White Bear Lake Area Historical Society reaches audiences from elementary students to lifelong learners through our presence in the schools, our regular public presentations and our online presence. We serve as a resource for community members and visitors seeking information on the history of our area. Through in-person contact, telephone, email and online inquiries we have served more than 18,000 people over the past year.
Current Goals
Our programmatic goals for this year include expanding our outreach to bring more people into our new location at the Armory, increase the diversity of our programming subjects to include more programming on under-represented groups such as the Jewish community in our area and our Native American History.
