St. Cloud Municipal Band

Mission Statement

The St. Cloud Municipal Band is a fellowship of musicians sharing our tradition of performing great music.

Impact and Programs

Accomplishments In 2019, Performed in the St Cloud Area at three nursing homes during the winter; Memorial Day Service at VA Medical Center; July Fourth concert in Hester Park; three summer Barden Park concerts; Holiday concert at Whitney Senior Center. Spring and fall concerts at the Paramount Theater. Performed at the Vintage Band Festival in Northfield, Minn. During St. Cloud's Granite City Days, the band hosted high school band musicians after the parade.
Current Goals Return to rehearsing and performing after the Covid-19 pause. Work with Stearns History Museum on a band event and display at the museum. If it is scheduled this year, participate in St. Cloud's Granite City Days Parade by hosting high school band musicians.
Community or Constituency Served People enjoying wind ensemble music coming to concerts in Central Minnesota as well from other regions within the United States and abroad.
Geographic Area Served Our audience comes primarily from Central Minnesota but also from other parts of the US and abroad.
