Impact and Programs
Accomplishments
In 2019, The Foundation raised $10,662,124 with the support of 3,395 donors to improve health and well-being in partnership with our members, patients and community. The Foundation gave significant financial support to many programs of Regions Hospital and HealthPartners, including the new Regions Hospital Family Birth Center, Emergency Medicine, Cancer Care Center, Neuroscience, Mental Health, Burn Center, pain and opioid management services, hardship assistance to individuals, Reach Out and Read, cardiology, rehabilitation, HealthPartners Center for Memory and Aging, HealthPartners Institute, HealthPartners Hospice and Palliative Care and community health programs such as PowerUp and Little Moments Count.
Current Goals
In 2020, The Foundation has set a goal of raising $16,000,000 to help support the following programs: Mental Health focusing on Make It OK, The Lee & Penny Anderson HeroCare Program, Growing Through Grief, and the expansion of the inpatient building; Neurosciences focusing on NeuroWell, research, and expanding care in to the West Metro; Cancer Care focusing on research and integrative therapies; ER/Trauma focusing on our burn patient care program and the expansion of our acute care pod; Patient Care focusing on the basic needs of our patients (transportation, medication assistance, volunteers, etc.); The Family Birth Center focusing on building a new inclusive facility for our community; Education focusing on scholarships and occupational medicine; and the opioid awareness campaign focusing on community education, pain alternatives and addiction.
