Impact and Programs

Accomplishments People Incorporated is the largest community-based mental health provider in MN, supporting more than 12,000 people annually. Our care includes crisis and long-term residential care, clinical services, therapy, school-based services, outreach to people experiencing homelessness, training, and more. Even more, our services are unique and adapted to the changing needs of the community including embedding mental health staff with local police and working as a national demonstration project on effectively supporting people through changing mental health needs as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic. At the core of our values, People Incorporated values the individual as the central and primary voice in the care they receive.
Current Goals People Incorporated measures performance based on key measurements outlined by our values. This includes client-reported indicators such as overall satisfaction with our program, cultural sensitivity, ability to better manage mental health symptoms, decreased use in drugs or alcohol, etc. Our programming goals for this fiscal year are also focused on ensuring that our continuum of care allows for smooth, supported transitions between programs and we're moving towards becoming a center of excellence.
Community or Constituency Served People Incorporated reaches over 12,000 individuals through more than 60 different programs throughout the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. 97% of clients report to be satisfied with their services they received at People Incorporated. 92% of clients report their quality of life improved after seeking support from People Incorporated. Clients also agree at a 98% rate that they are treated with respect at People Incorporated, 97% feel that People Incorporated works effectively with their culture, and 97% felt they were involved in creating their care plan.
Geographic Area Served People Incorporated primarily serves the seven county Twin Cities metro area.
