Child Loss Foundation

Mission Statement

The Child Loss Foundation supports parents grieving the death of a child with resources, connection and guidance as they navigate their individual grief journey.

Impact and Programs

Accomplishments In 2025, families grieving the loss of a child were able to attend retreats, receive financial support, and feel comforted by a compassionate community. Over $315,000 was distributed to 159 Minnesota families to help lighten the financial burden that goes with the death of a child. In 2025, we hosted 34 Child Loss Retreats that brought connection and hope to 580 grieving parents and their families. Just over 4,000 more employees were added to the 30,000 already covered by employers with a culture of care and compassion who offer the Child Loss @ Work benefit.
Current Goals The programmatic goals of the Child Loss Foundation for 2026 are the foundation for success now and for the years to come. The board of directors and staff are in sync as we approach our future with intention. This year, we're looking at greater outreach so all families know how to find us, what we offer and how they can avail of our services. We're also committed to investments in people and technology to support program growth and expansion. Lastly, we're always watching our metrics and will work to maintain our high satisfaction rating from those we serve.
