Cars for Neighbors

Mission Statement

To foster independence by providing car care for neighbors in need who cannot afford to have their vehicle fixed.

Impact and Programs

Accomplishments In 2023, we repaired 61 vehicles for low income Anoka County residents which allowed these residents to keep their jobs, find new jobs, get to medical appointments, go to grocery stores, and participate in educational/recreational opportunities for themselves and/or their loved ones.
Current Goals In 2024, we have a goal of repair 70 vehicles and starting up our car donation program which we had to discontinue in 2018.
Community or Constituency Served Anoka County residents age 21 or older that are low to moderate income range. We serve single adults, families, veterans, elderly, and those with disabilities.
Geographic Area Served Anoka County, Minnesota.
