Impact and Programs
Accomplishments
We have provided funding for hospital capital for various programs and equipment that were not possible in hospital budget. We expanded various programs which increased outreach and improved community health. We helped add new programs for mental health which were critical for our rural area. We partnered regionally with several hospitals and clinics and their foundations on several new programs including mental health, pain management, telemedicine, and childhood obesity.
Current Goals
Our primary goal was capital support for the emergency room standardization. Our next goal was capital support for the behavioral health program. As a department, we have engaged with the community to provide more mental health resources such as partnerships with the Mental Health Task Force and the Amery School District. We also desire to more closely engage with the county on substance abuse treatment and resources. These goals are the result of our CHNA assessment, the federally mandated community health survey.
