Thank you and farewell from Madeline Folstein

My last day will be Thursday, February 24th

Council partners & friends,

It is with mixed emotions that I share my resignation as Communications & Marketing Coordinator at Charities Review Council. My last day will be Thursday, February 24th. I have accepted a role as a Program/Project Specialist at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing. I’m looking forward to supporting development/alumni relations, strategic communications, and the Office of the Dean at the School.

I joined the Council as our Communications & Administrative Associate in June 2020 shortly after graduating from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. My day-to-day work included coordinating our communications calendar and serving as a key member of our Nonprofit Services Team. I’ve led our Give to the Max Day campaign twice, supported the development of new engagement opportunities like our DEI Toolkit webinars, and connected with countless donor and nonprofit partners along the way. I recently stepped into our Communications & Marketing Coordinator role. In this position, I managed our paid internship program and had the pleasure of supporting this essential role at the Council.

It’s been a fantastic almost two years. Thank you to the Council and all of our partners for helping me learn and grow in my career! I hope to stay in touch.

Next steps

The Council is currently undergoing strategic planning with support from Sherry Holtz at Mission Momentum, so this is an exciting time for the Council. As the organization evaluates its strategic priorities, the Council will be collaborating with key consultant partners like Kate-Madonna Hindes of GirlMeetsGeek, AmplifyDMC, and AngCo to deliver on its mission. Stay tuned later in the year for updated job postings.
