The Family Place

Mission Statement

The Mission of The Family Place is to assist families with children in shelter to gain confidence in building future goals that will lead to the success of the entire family.

Impact and Programs

Accomplishments Impacts include: 31 youth served in the summer program 224 books read throughout the summer 176 people in transition Full-time childcare hours for working parents and program participants Used freshly harvested vegetables from the garden to complement the healthy meals program
Current Goals Programmatic goals: Build marketing materials to support the expansion of Casa de la Bella Montessori for community members Increase the number of children being served Completion of the Parent Aware Program Increased organizational revenue by 75% Change curriculum to include 16 weeks of financial planning in each course topic Create a follow-up routine for all students who graduate from the course
