Reviving the Islamic Sisterhood for Empowerment (RISE)

Mission Statement

To amplify the voice and power of Muslim women.

Impact and Programs

Accomplishments In 2018, we trained 800 women in leadership skills, developed and produced 25 stories about our Muslim Sheroes, and have reached over 12,000 women through our civic engagement trainings.
Current Goals For 2019, RISE hopes to continue to reclaim the narrative surrounding Muslim women by continuing the Muslim Shereos of Minnesota Storytelling project by creating 6 Profiles Writings, curating our Expressions Blog, and inviting 12 writing pieces. We're also going to connect and cultivate the Sisterhood by hosting our annual women's leadership development conference and increasing our attendance to 300 women.
