Be The Match Foundation® supports the mission of the National Marrow Donor Program. Together we help thousands of leukemia and lymphoma patients who need a marrow or cord blood transplant find a donor and receive the life-saving treatment they need. We raise funds to break down barriers to a potentially life-saving blood cancer treatment, and to deliver tangible relief to patient families struggling with uninsured transplant costs, help add more potential marrow donors to Be The Match Registry® and invest in new research discoveries.
Impact and Programs
With the help of funding from Be The Match Foundation, Be The Match/National Marrow Donor Program, provided $3.2 million in patient assistance grants to 1,800 families, conducted more than 15,000 US and International marrow donor searches of the Be The Match Registry, and facilitated 6,300 transplants. We also provided resources and guidance to 15,000 requests for information, resources and support. In addition, we supported research that saves and improves lives and transplant outcomes.
FY14 Goal for Be The Match Foundation is to raise $9.6 Million in charitable revenue to benefit the patients of the Be The Match/National Marrow Donor Program.
