CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW:
Widely recognized as the leading theatre for young people and families in North America, The Children’s Theatre Company serves over 300,000 people annually with performances, theatre arts training classes, and community engagement programs. In 2003, CTC received the Tony® Award for Regional Theatre for reaching beyond the conventions of children’s theatre to develop fresh material with top national and international talent. In 2005, our in-school theatre arts program Neighborhood Bridges was selected by the U. S. Department of Education as a model for dissemination in twelve communities nationwide as a result of its capacity to improve children’s language skills, theatre arts competencies, and attitudes to learning. CTC is committed to the wise stewardship of contributions and to accountability in all our operations.
