    CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW:
Learn - Dream - Achieve. For over 45 years, LDA Minnesota has helped children, youth, and adults with learning difficulties learn successfully, dream of possibilities, and achieve their goals. Someone you know may be struggling to learn: One in 7 Minnesotans has a learning disability and one in 10 is affected with an attention deficit. Using donor investments responsibly, we serve our clients across the life span, from early literacy programming to prepare low-income pre-schoolers for Kindergarten success, through intensive in-school instruction for failing K-8 students, to services for parents of children with learning challenges and ADHD, as well as for adults with these disorders. We provide assessments, specialized tutoring, summer camp for children with learning challenges, parent workshops, support groups, training for teachers and other helping professionals who work with our clientele, high-quality educational products, and public education. In 2003, LDA received the first-ever Nonprofit Excellence Award, which recognizes superior non-profit management and is coordinated by the Minnesota Council on Nonprofits.
