    CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW:
PRG’s programs change the lives of individuals, families, and communities across the seven-county Twin Cities metropolitan area. The buyers of our homes gain stability and opportunity: the stability of a quality, consistent place to live, and the opportunity to devote household resources to areas other than housing, such as education or job advancement. Communities bring their toughest housing challenges to PRG, and we offer them housing development expertise, perserverance, and partnership. As a result, the homes we build enhance the beauty and sense of community in the neighborhoods where they are located. To our homebuyer education and counseling clients, we offer sound, impartial guidance. We combat predatory lending and mortgage foreclosure by offering these services to first-generation homebuyers and others at risk for falling prey to unfair lending practices. And because we work closely with communities of color, our work helps to close the home ownership gap.
